Event Reminders continuously checks for new attendees leading up to an event. If someone registers late, even within the reminder window, they are still included automatically.
Once an attendee receives a reminder for an event, the system records it to prevent duplicate emails.

Event Reminders supports two reminder scheduling approaches.
Reminders can be sent a set number of hours before an event begins, or at a fixed time of day for all events starting the following day.
Both options run automatically and require no additional setup once enabled.

Reminder emails support dynamic placeholders that insert attendee details, event information, and venue data automatically.
Custom event and venue metadata can also be included, allowing emails to reflect site-specific information without hardcoding templates.
Emails can be edited using a rich text editor and previewed before sending.

Event Reminders provides a clear view of upcoming events and their reminder status.
Each event displays its current state, total attendee count, and how many reminder emails have been sent. Events with no attendees or manually disabled reminders are clearly identified.

While reminders run automatically, manual controls are available for edge cases.
Administrators can send reminders immediately, disable reminders for specific events, or preview the exact email an attendee will receive.
These actions do not disrupt the automated reminder schedule.

All reminder emails are logged with recipient information, timestamps, and delivery status.
Past events retain their reminder history, making it easy to verify what was sent and when.
Optional admin notifications can be enabled to receive summaries after reminder batches are processed.
